In 1986, one of Huntsville’s leading agents encouraged Bob to pursue a career in real estate. From his desk at Intergraph Corporation, he began to weigh the pros and cons of a becoming a Realtor. He knew he loved working with people, home design & construction, interior design, detail work, teaching, helping people get what they want, and the idea of career independence. However, he knew that a successful career in real estate requires a consistently high level of effort, organization, accountability, provides no company benefits, has unpredictable working hours, and he was inexperienced in sales. Regardless of the challenges this presented, Bob realized that this would be the perfect fit for him. Through a lifetime of diligence learned through continuous education, Bachelors and Masters Degrees, time spent in the U.S. Navy, and a lifetime of experience, Bob acquired the skills necessary to succeed in business for himself. Solving problems, clearing obstacles, and exceeding expectations come naturally to him. His great joy became supporting others in their quest for the perfect home.
In 2004, Bob was asked to be an owner/charter member in the premier real estate company, Keller Williams. Since this time, the Huntsville/Madison Keller Williams offices have become market leaders for North Alabama.
Bob has earned the GRI, CRS, and ABR professional designations. He has been a certified trainer for all levels of real estate education, has taught new agent orientation for many years, and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Huntsville Area Association of Realtors. He has been a guest speaker for many real estate groups including the Women's Council of Realtors and the Mortgage Broker's Association. Through the years, he has mastered marketing, negotiating, and handling all the details of real estate transactions to provide the highest level of professional service to his many valued clients.
